About Family Nudge

Why we built this

Caregiving is one of the hardest jobs in the world, and most people doing it have no training, no tools, and no support system designed for their reality.

Family Nudge started when a caregiver realized that every doctor's appointment began the same way: "How has she been eating? How's her sleep? Any changes?" — and the answers were always "I think okay" or "about the same."

Doctors need data. Caregivers have observations. Family Nudge bridges that gap — turning daily notes into structured reports that make every appointment more productive.

What we believe

Always Free

Caregiving is already expensive. The tools to track it shouldn't cost anything. Family Nudge has no premium tier, no trial, and no hidden fees.

Privacy First

Patient health data is sensitive. Every account is isolated and secured. We don't sell data, run ads, or share information with third parties.

Community Driven

The Recommend button in the app isn't decorative. Every suggestion is read. The features you see today came from real caregiver feedback.

Bilingual by Design

Not an afterthought translation. The entire interface, all measurements, and all reports are natively bilingual in English and Spanish from day one.

Forming a non-profit

We're in the process of establishing a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to ensure Family Nudge remains free, sustainable, and community-governed for the long term.

Server costs, development, and maintenance are funded by voluntary donations. There is no requirement to donate — the app is fully functional without contributing a cent.
